Countryside Wedding at Maypop Fields in Tazewell, TN

Another gorgeous fall wedding has come and gone! I recently had the privilege of shooting Jade and Sam’s special day on a picturesque hill with the most stunning venue in the background. Ya’ll the Maypop Fields venue in Tazewell has the sweetest, most chic little barn that perfectly complemented The Melecosky’s blue and blush bridal colors. Speaking of which, Jade’s Sola Wood bouquet from Southern Blooms is the same craftsmen that I chose to make my wedding day all the more perfect. The trendy eucalyptus and roses added the perfect pops of color to her absolutely gorgeous dress from one of my all time favorite dress shops called White Lace and Promises in Knoxville. I would suggest any bride-to-be poke her head into this dress shop and have a most memorable experience with their AMAZING staff!

Jade and Sam’s sweet and fun loving nature really warmed up this chilly fall day at a modern, bright barn venue so perfectly nestled in the countryside. I knew this couple was sure to have a memorable day after I got to know them earlier in the year for a round of fun engagement photos that made me look forward to their wedding day and all the more ready to see this passionate couple tie the knot with great friends and loving family. Their bridal party was so so supportive and sweet to this perfect couple as they got ready to say ‘I do’. The cheerful bridesmaids wore the prettiest, full length gowns by Azazie and were there for Jade at every step, sporting matching shirts that really sold the experience. My favorite part of bridal party’s pre-ceremony preparation was doing a first look with Jade and her bridesmaids. Their faces full of joy and happiness for their best friend really showed their support of Jade’s union with Sam and how much they were looking forward to the big moment. It even calmed some nerves they all may have been feeling and made for some precious shots.

After Jade and Sam’s beautiful ceremony, the friends and family met under rustic wood and the soft glow of chandeliers to dine on the most mouthwatering handmade pizza that I will literally never forget. In place of a cake, the couple had the cutest and most delicious little fried pies that were almost as sweet as the sight of the newly weds together in the sunset’s glow. Of course, I wanted to take advantage of the countryside views and last precious rays of sun for some perfect golden hour shots. I think these golden hour portraits are a must have to end the most special day.
