It has been a while since I posted on the blog, but life has been a wee bit crazy. But I couldn’t miss putting Callie & James’ wedding on the blog! It is insane to think they’ve been married for a week already!
Their day was absolutely perfect. My assistant even asked, “Are wedding days usually this smooth?!” because that is how smoothly their day went!
From the moment I walked in, I knew that everything was falling into place perfectly. Of course, I had to give James a big hug because he’s SUCH a good hugger! And I went and made sure everything was good with Callie. You could tell they were both nervous. But as soon as they had their first look (which was the cutest, by the way) all of their nerves just melted away. James’ reaction seriously made me tear up. His reaction couldn’t have been more perfect!
I will admit, there were several moment throughout the day that had me in tears. You see, Callie’s sweet daddy passed away a few years ago. But you could feel his presence that day. I had never met him, but he actually married my husband’s parents, he was a pastor. So he married several couples. The DJ, Hannah, actually was able to take audio from one of the previous weddings he had done and play it during the ceremony. His voice boomed over the speaker and did their first prayer and he pronounced them husband and wife. My heart was full. Their ceremony couldn’t have been more beautiful.
I could ramble on & on about their day, but I’ll just let you see it for yourself!
James & Callie, thank you so much again for trusting me to capture your big day. It was an absolute honor. I’m so happy to have you as an AJPCouple! I hope you’re enjoying married life so far!
