I met Erin and Justin at their picturesque venue, Cherokee Creek Farm, for their wedding on a rainy, yet, beautiful Saturday in July. Cherokee Creek Farm is a special events facility located in the historic Jonesborough, the oldest town in Tennessee. The Farm is surrounded by 23 beautiful acres filled with history. The grounds have beautifully manicured lawns, majestic trees, and rolling hills. To say the least, there was no shortage of breathtaking backdrops to capture intimate and elegant moments. Thankfully, there was a small break in the rain which created a slight overcast glow, and produced the perfect portraits!
Erin and Justin were just a joy to photograph. You can really tell that they have a deep bond, which came through in every single one of their photos. Erin is an absolute sweet heart, and one of the most laid back brides I’ve had the pleasure of working with. This sweet couple has a special kind of love. One that many people spend a lifetime searching for. You can really tell that Justin just adores her.
Erin and Justin, thank you for letting me be a part of this special chapter in your lives. It was such a privilege to meet you, your families, and friends at this intimate wedding. I loved being able to capture photos that represent the special bond you two share, and I loved hearing all of the fun stories during the speeches! Erin you were an absolutely stunning bride and Justin you were a handsome groom. And I am forever blessed to have you in the #AJPFamily! I can’t wait to see what the future holds for you two. Cheers to the new Mr. and Mrs. Calhoun!
XOXO,
Alissa
