April Barn Wedding in Limestone, TN

To say that I absolutely ADORE this sweet couple, would be an understatement. I met them when I I captured their proposal last December! I photographed their engagement session, when they eloped last year & their big wedding day. Kera & Jacob had a beautiful ceremony with family & friends at Harvest Acres Farm in Limestone, TN. Every detail was perfect! The rain held off just long enough to have their ceremony, and get a few bridal portraits (Which I am SO thankful for!) Kera’s dress was absolutely BEAUTIFUL, and her veil was the perfect length for my favorite veil shots! I would be lying if I said I wasn’t worried about the weather. It is SO hard to get beautiful portraits under a porch, in the rain or inside a barn. So I took EVERY opportunity to get bride & groom portraits when it wasn’t raining! Even after the guests were gone & the family was cleaning up the reception space, Kera, Jacob & I snuck outside to capture just a few more portraits…and they are some of my very favorites (they’re at the end of the blog!)!!

Jacob’s mom is seriously the SWEETEST, and so talented. She made a beautiful baby blanket for my youngest when he was born. And Kera’s mom has so much love for her daughter. During the reception, she made a little speech before their mother & daughter dance, and I definitely had some tears. They have the most caring friends & family, and it was so nice getting to know everyone. When Kera’s mom read a beautiful note she wrote & dance with Kera, I couldn’t help thinking about me & my sweet little girl. I definitely shed some tears during the mother & son and mother & daughter dance!! I’m so thankful to have this sweet couple in the AJPFamily!

Jake & Kera, thank you so much for allowing me to capture your love story! Your wedding day couldn’t have been any more perfect. I can’t wait to see what you two do with your lives together 💕 Enjoy your new home & new lives together as Mr. & Mrs.!
