Rustic Chic Wedding at The Barn of 1810

Austin & Courteney’s wedding this past Saturday was simply charming. I’ll admit, when they had to postpone their June date to September, I was a little bummed. But I honestly couldn’t have been happier with the weather on their September wedding day! It was a gorgeous day.

They got married at the Barn of 1810 in Morristown. The girls got ready at the owner’s home, which is the colonial home on the property. They have the most beautiful bridal suite, and an adorable little sitting room with the most amazing antique furniture (SWOON!). It was the perfect place to capture the little details of their day.

After Courteney got dressed, we did the first look. I had to wipe a tear or two away as I watched Austin see his soon-to-be wife for the first time. I’m always so honored to share this intimate moment with my couples (Even though the bridesmaids were watching from the second story window). Doing the first look adds such a beautiful memory to your special day, and it melts away all the nerves. I seriously love first looks, if you can’t tell!

Their bridal party was seriously the BEST! Not only did we have a great time during their portraits, but you can tell they are all so supportive of the two of them. It is rare to see groomsmen hug and really be emotional with the groom, and it is so special every time. The bridal party had me laughing the ENTIRE day, seriously, they are such a fun bunch! Just wait until you see all of the silly (and crazy) things the groomsmen & I did!

Their ceremony was nothing short of perfect. They said their vows & devoted their lives to one another, and it was beautiful. But what was even more beautiful, was their portraits! Y’all. Not only are they an adorable & extremely photogenic couple, but God blessed us with PERFECT weather and a gorgeous place for portraits. I’m absolutely in LOVE with what we created together, and I cannot wait to dive in deeper!

Austin & Courteney, Thank you both so very much for trusting me to capture your special day. I’m so blessed to be able to call you one of my AJPCouples, and I hope I can capture more milestones in your future. I have enjoyed every moment I’ve spent with you two, and I cannot wait to fully dive into editing your wedding! I hope you guys had an amazing honeymoon, and be safe coming home!!

XOXO,

Alissa J Moore
