Charming & Quaint Wedding at Farm at Bentley Fields

Last Saturday, I spend my birthday doing something I LOVE… Shooting a wedding! Whitney & Kevin celebrated their love at The Farm at Bentley Fields in Newport, TN. Before I get into their wedding, I want to take a moment to brag on a few people. The venue owner, Missy, is FANTASTIC! Not only does she run an amazingly beautiful venue, but she is so incredibly helpful & sweet. The bride’s mother & fellow photographer, Renee, is seriously the sweetest. Not only is she so incredibly talented, but she also has a photo booth camper (Mobile memories by Renee Hardin, Look it up!!) and I LOVE it! She is so kind, and every time Whitney would smile I could see Renee. It was such an honor to be trusted to shoot her daughter’s wedding.

I began their day with shooting some of their details. I love shooting details, because I know how much those little things that are often looked over can cost & what they mean to the couple. Her ring was custom made with her grandmother’s diamond (SWOON!) by an amazing company (I’ll tag them below!) and let me tell you, it is STUNNING!

Once I went in to see Whitney get in her dress, everything started to feel real! Kevin & Whitney were both pretty nervous, but I assured them once they saw each other during the first look, all of their nerves would melt away. And they did! Kevin had one of my favorite responses to seeing his wife…”WOO! And I thought it was hot outside!!”. Can they be any cuter?!

Their ceremony was beautiful. They did a foot washing ceremony, there were tears, and they read their own vows. Did I mention that they’re already married?! They eloped back in May, on their original date that had to be postponed due to the Rona. But I’m not even mad about it, because this September day was perfection.

Receptions are pretty much hit or miss. Either everyone eats then leaves, or they have a ton of guests stay after dinner to party. I’m happy to say their guests know how to party! I usually don’t put too many photos of dancing guests on the blog, but I had to add a few that made me laugh! Their reception was such a good time, and those cakes. They had not one, not two, but FIVE cakes. And from what I heard, every single one was amazing! I know the one I chose was!

All in all, I would say their entire wedding day was a huge success. I mean even LaCroix gave them a ton of drinks for their reception!! We had a blast, and I am so thankful they chose me to capture their day. They are the sweetest couple, and I’m so happy to call them one of my AJPCouples!

Kevin & Whitney, thank you again for allowing me to document your love. Life will bring all sorts of things your way, but itโ€™s better to share it with someone by your side. And I know you two will be there for each other through everything. Wishing you many more joyful moments to come! I hope you’ll allow me to continue to document your lives together ๐Ÿ’•

XOXO,

Alissa J Moore
