Grandfather Mountain Engagement Session

Before you read any further, I want you to take a look at the first photo I’ve posted on the blog. The way that they look at each other is literally all you need to know how much they love each other ❤️ Haley & Alex booked their wedding with me back in January, and from the first time we met I knew we would be a perfect fit. Not only is their wedding at one of my FAVORITE venues in the Tri-Cities, Grace Meadows Farm, but all of their details sounded perfect.

When we met, they told me the story of their engagement and it was seriously so sweet. How am I lucky enough to get the couples with the most adorable proposal stories?! Alex hired TWO photographers to hike up to the overlook on Grandfather Mountain at sunrise last April. He brought Haley up to the top and dropped to one knee! So we just had to do their engagement portraits there! Just wait until you see the view 😍 I’m not saying the way my husband proposed wasn’t great, but if he would have asked me on top of a mountain, I might have fallen off. Haha!

We chatted the entire hike, through my loud breathing of course. I seriously need to work out more. Anyway, the favorite thing I learned about the two of them is that Alex is fixing up Haley’s grandmother’s old house for the two of them to live in once their married…SWOON! 😍

Okay, I’ll stop writing. I hope you enjoy!

Alex & Haley,

Thank you both so much for entrusting me with capturing your big day. I seriously cannot wait for the veil fluffs, details & love I get to capture this October! I had a blast shooting your engagement portraits, and can’t wait for your big day!

XOXO, Alissa Moore
